Gosh and ended by the Kennedy Memorial in the Aminadav Forest outside Jerusalem. Passing through kibbutz Tsuba - the site of an old Arab village the hike included some climbing and walking along a river bed. Many events have taken place in this area – from biblical times to more recent history. Steve Kramer describes the vegetation and natural features, an ancient irrigation system and some present day farming carried out a according to the rules of ancient agriculture.

Jaffa Port. The Theater is home to a deaf blind acting ensemble and the two restaurants there are staffed by deaf and blind people. Steve Kramer went to see their show “Not by Bread Alone” where very few of the actors can speak but with the help of subtitles and sign language have an amazing ability to convey their thoughts and actions to the audience. The actors are very professional and many of them are both blind and deaf, touch is their most common form of communication.
